Happy Holidays!
Many Wyoming therapists met in Cheyenne in September for a great conference filled with fantastic educational sessions as well as lots of networking between therapists. Next year look forward to attending conference in Sheridan.
The Executive committee of the WyOTA Board met prior to conference to do some strategic planning to determine the path that the association will take over the next two years. The plan is tied to the AOTA Centennial Vision:
"We envision that occupational therapy is a powerful, widely recognized, science-driven, and evidence-based profession with a globally connected and diverse workforce meeting society's occupational needs."
It spells out specific things that WyOTA will accomplish as we move toward the professions 100th birthday. Be sure and look at this document on the Strategic Plan Link on this page.
