Hoping you are all enjoying your summer!
I wanted to give you all a 2008 WyOTA conference update. We are still waiting on some information from our speakers so that we can get the flyers out but I wanted you to know the topics. Out pediatric track will be on collaborative school and early intervention occupational therapy services. Our speakers are from Colorado and have extensive experience on this topic. I was fortunate enough to hear one of them speak at the AOTA conference and think that you will get some really usable information.
The second speaker will be providing the first two days of training needed to become certified in Kinesio-Taping. This will be a very hands-on session and space will be limited. The conference will take place at the Hitching Post Hotel. There will be a social on Friday night directly following the conference and the business meeting and lunch will take place on Saturday.
You should expect flyers to arrive in July. This will be a quick turn around since we hope most of you will pre-register by September 5th.
